The Brigitte scarf by Tilly, of Tilly and the Buttons fame.
Very excited to be joining in the celebrations of Tilly’s first book launch. This was a pretty easy and quick project, even for me 🙂 Tilly’s tutorial was clear with really helpful, accompanying photos. I made it in a fairly stiff chambray and added some coordinating grosgrain ribbon for a splash of colour. Not fully convinced of how I’ve styled it in these photos, but I’ll keep experimenting with it. I’m thinking of trying a lighter fabric for a neck scarf next time.
If you haven’t seen the previews of Tilly’s book yet, it’s certainly worth taking a look on her blog. I’ll definitely be adding it to my wish list: it sounds just perfect for my skill level. The designs look incredibly wearable and the photography’s beautiful to boot.
Lovely!
Thank you!
I like how the Brigitte project has led to me to so many lovely sewing blogs! Love yours, and the brooch too!
